We can help you with everything you need to get a job in Japan as a Data Scientist,
from internship experience at a Japanese company, to interview preparation and company referrals.
The Data Scientist Training Course allows you to learn anytime, anywhere with the videos and materials provided. If you have any questions, you can ask the Instructor twice a week during "Follow-up Time" or in a one-to-one community. Every Saturday, all the students work together on a topic chosen by the Instructor and present it to each other in order to develop problem-solving skills. ※It is also possible to participate in schooling every Saturday online from home.
This curriculum is developed by an active Data Scientist with the top priority of "acquiring skills that can be used in the actual workplace". You can systematically learn the skills necessary for the actual workplace.

After obtaining a PhD in Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Dr. Yoichiro Wada joined Data4C's in 2008. Since then, he has been active as a Data Scientist for more than 10 years and participated in many projects, mainly in the fields of marketing and finance. In addition to data analysis, he has been involved in system development, consulting for building data analysis teams, and leading numerous projects to success as a project leader. In 2009, he won a prize for excellence in a data analysis competition sponsored by the Joint Association Study Group of Management Science.
After obtaining a PhD in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business Administration, UCLA, Dr. Nobuo Tanimoto worked at an American consulting firm. As a Management Strategy Consultant, he proposed strategies based on data analysis, and supported a wide range of major Japanese companies from strategic planning to venture start-up support. After that, he has become a University Professor in statistics, mathematics, management engineering, and marketing, etc. At the same time, he has conducted research on the construction of sequential decision-making models based on probability theory and data analysis for regional revitalization, such as smart communities using renewable energy through industry-government-academia collaboration. At Data Science Academy, he is responsible for the subjects of Statistics, Data Science, Role-play and Pre-Job Guidance.
Mr. Isao Nakamura is a graduate of Tokyo University of Science, majoring in Mathematics, the Faculty of Science and Technology. He worked for a software company that specializes in supply chain management scheduling systems. He was responsible for the development of evaluation methods for scheduling systems. After that, he worked in the research department of a telecommunications company, where he was responsible for developing models for predicting electricity demand and power generation from renewable energy sources. In addition, he has experience in a wide range of data analysis fields, including gene expression analysis, policies targeting effect verification analysis and sales planning support in the mail order marketing department of the manufacturing industry, and policies targeting retention effect analysis, and dropout factor analysis in digital marketing in the marketing department of a telecommunications company. At Data Science Academy, he is mainly in charge of programming classes.
Mr. Shimpei Yamamoto graduated from the School of Education at Waseda University. After working for a leading IT advertising agency, a leading human resources agency, and Data4C's, he has been working as the local head of AI Academy, which is Data4C's wholly owned subsidiary established in Seoul in October, 2019. His mission is to "solve the shortage of Data Scientists in Asia". His achievements in data science education and employment support for global talents have been recognized by both domestic and foreign government agencies, the IT industry, and users. He also plays an active role in providing employment counseling for students and working adults.
